Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 14, 2026
Our Commitment
Keirova is committed to ensuring that its platform is accessible to people with disabilities. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Visual Accessibility
Keirova is designed with sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) to ensure readability for users with low vision or color blindness. All chart data is accompanied by underlying data tables that are accessible to screen readers. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements — navigation links, buttons, form fields, chart controls, and modal dialogs — are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone. Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements. Tab order follows the logical reading order of the page. Modal dialogs trap focus appropriately and return focus to the triggering element when closed.
Screen Reader Support
Keirova uses semantic HTML5 elements and ARIA labels to provide meaningful context to screen readers. All images include descriptive alt text. All form inputs have associated labels. Dynamic content updates (price changes, alert notifications) use ARIA live regions to announce changes to screen reader users. We test our platform with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS).
Responsive Design
Keirova is fully responsive and functions on screens from 320px wide (small mobile) to large desktop displays. Content reflows appropriately at all viewport sizes without requiring horizontal scrolling. Touch targets are at least 44×44 pixels to accommodate users with motor impairments.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas where accessibility improvements are ongoing:
- Interactive charts: The candlestick and line charts are rendered on HTML5 canvas elements. While we provide underlying data tables for screen reader access, the interactive chart controls (zoom, range selection) have limited screen reader support. We are evaluating SVG-based chart alternatives.
- Real-time price updates: Rapidly updating price figures in the ticker tape may be disruptive to screen reader users. Users can pause the ticker tape using the keyboard.
- PDF documents: Any downloadable reports are not yet fully tagged for screen reader accessibility. Tagged PDF versions will be available in a future update.
Standards and Guidelines
Keirova aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user-friendly for everyone. We also follow the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III guidance as interpreted by the U.S. Department of Justice.
